I am 19 years old and applying to UWF. I am a Christian lesbian. Yes, I do believe you can be both, and no it is not a sin. I am the girl who stood up in history class and corrected the teacher. I was the kid who would always stand up and fight for those who could not fight for themselves. I was the classmate you probably knew of, but never talked to. I have lived my life trying to be the best person I could possibly be, but I have made my share of mistakes. I have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I have fallen, but always risen back up again. I am not perfect by any means, but I try to live my life to glorify the Lord. I am young and idealistic, but it beats the alternative of believing we are all doomed to a pre destined fait. I love my friends and I love my family, and if you are a friend, then I consider you my family. I have my ups and downs, but I have realized that life is to short to live hating the misfortunes of the past, so I have started looking to the future. I try not to judge and accept people of all faiths and beliefs. I say nothing is impossible, because to say other wise would be putting limitations on my God's power. I am one of those who believe God created science and that he made humans smart enough to debate and question. To do so is not blasphemy, but rather using the mind God has given us. I will always help those in need, regardless of who they are. I pray for those who have wronged me, and help even my enemies.I am a feminist, artist, musician, playwright, and novelist.
